The Mathematics Department of Madhabdev University is dedicated to academic excellence, science studies and research.

The Department of Mathematics at Madhabdev University plays an important role in promoting mathematical education and research in the region. The university itself is a public state university located at Narayanpur in North Lakhimpur district of Assam.

The department is committed to providing a strong foundation in both pure and applied mathematics. It offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in mathematics in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) framework, and also contributes to research activities through advanced studies and doctoral programmes conducted by the university
